Audio and co-creative research
Housing Spectrums is co-creative research conducted by University of Bristol social policy researcher Beth Stone, Autistic residents of a homeless shelter and myself.
The research explores barriers to accommodation for autistic people experiencing/at risk of homelessness.
Five residents shared their experiences of communal living, identifying barriers to safe, accessible, and enjoyable accommodation. We also thought about how spaces could be re-designed to meet different needs and preferences.
Housing Spectrums
Through audio, artwork, interview transcripts and photographs, this co-created site explores the key themes which emerged during workshops.
The research is currently been developed into a website (entitled housing Spectrums) by me collaborator SVS Design myself and Beth Stone.
